One of the most underrated pizza spots in nyc. Enjoyed my slices. The burrata with pepperoni was the best one. I came in right when they opened and it was awesome. The pesto slice was good but I wouldn’t reorder. The buffalo chicken was also delicious. What separates this pizza is the crunch of the crust. It is a perfect contrast to the toppings and flavor. 5 stars all the way. Try this spot out.
*Burrapizza Cafonata w/ Garlic Parm Squares
Tbh I was very underwhelmed by their burrapizza… I swear I ate my pizza 5 minutes after I collected my take-out, but both the pizza and the garlic squares were lukewarm, or even cold… The pizza was obviously not fresh and has been out of oven for some time. The dough was tough and hard to chew. I ended up only scraping the pepperoni on top.
Well I can imagine how heavenly it could be if it was served fresh. They popped a big ball of burrata and didn’t skimp on the amount of pepperoni which I really appreciated. The garlic squares were actually very finger-licking despite its temperature, and very strong in garlic aroma. If you catch them holding a tray of pizza and garlic squares fresh out of oven, you can def give them a try.
The place is so cute and the pizzas works of art. The service was also very good. I went back for an item that they forgot to give to my daughter (she didn’t know what I bought), a man attended me right away and apologized very politely. Without a receipt, I thought I’d have trouble proving I bought it.
However, the pizza just wasn’t my thing. It was weirdly sweet. I had the burrata slice. The others liked theirs.
I think the pizza would be better if it was made to order, like a fresh one of the oven. But the slice doesn’t reheat well. The bottom is super crispy but the top is just room temperature. The flavors are pretty good but it feels like eating leftover pizza.
The sauce on the fried pasta was delicious but the outside was warm and crispy while the inside was cold.
We walked around just looking for a slice of pizza and ended up here. So many diffrent slices to choose from. We got plain slices and it's was so good. I would definitely come back and try all of their specialty slices. It smelled amazing In there..
Did a TooGood2Go pickup here- would recommend based on both quantity for price and quality. Pizza crust is a little tough, but the sandwich was quite good. They have many creative options. I would note that there isn’t seating so it is a takeout style restaurant. Service is friendly.
Great pizza! I really enjoyed it! It’s probably one of the pizza places in Manhattan I’d most recommend! The place is very small, with a small bar were you can it! The variety of pizza and the (square) Roman style pizza makes the place unique! Prices varies from $5-11$ per slice! The burrata pizza is double in price compared to the others, but so yummy and worth it! The truffle mushroom burrapiza and Caccio e Pepe fried pasta were my favorite! Highly recommended!
We ordered a slice of Burrata Pizza (pepperoni), Meat Dream, and Fried Bolognese. My husband thoroughly enjoyed all of them, but it felt a bit too heavy for my taste as it was our first meal of the day. The seating space is limited (no chairs), but it seems like many people opt to just pick up their orders. The location is convenient, and they offer a wide variety of options to choose from.
